Review by hotel critic
Upon entering the Strathallan B & B, I was immediately drawn to the breakfast bar, filled with yogurts, fresh fruit, and a handwritten sign showcasing homemade jam, marmalade. It was a charming touch that added a personal and welcoming feel to the dining area. As I sat down to enjoy my breakfast, I couldn't help but admire the local produce used in the full Scottish breakfast. the locally sourced bacon, haggis, black pudding, and sausages from Grants of Speyside truly showcased the flavors of the region. Each bite was bursting with rich, savory goodness that perfectly complemented the morning. One particular highlight for me was the delicious jams that accompanied the breakfast spread. the homemade orange jam was a standout, adding a sweet and tangy flavor to my toast. It was evident that attention to detail and quality ingredients were of utmost importance in the culinary offerings at Strathallan. After a satisfying meal, I decided to visit the Craig Bar for a post-breakfast pint. the cozy atmosphere and friendly banter made it the perfect spot to relax and unwind. I was impressed by the selection of whisky and the delicious pies on offer, which made for a delightful end to my dining experience at the hotel. Overall, the culinary innovation and ambiance at Strathallan B & B exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a unique and memorable dining experience in the Speyside area.
